KARACHI, Jan 23: Sibtain Raza banged a hat trick to help Habib Public School (HPS) retain title after crushing GBSS Agro Technical, Shah Faisal Colony, 8-0 in the Board of Secondary Education annual inter-school hockey tournament Wednesday.

Sibtain, who slammed home five goals, opened the scoring with a 7th-minute goal and went on adding three more in the 13th, 21st, and 24th minutes to complete the hat trick.

The HPS, playing at their home ground, continued the onslaught, this time through Osama Shah whose back-to-back 25th and 26th-minute strikes made it 6-0.

Having a convincing lead, the HPS pumped in two more in the second session to complete the rout.

Sibtain, who was still on a rampage added to the losers’ miseries when he pounced a minute after the restart to grab the goal number seven, while Osama’s 40th-minute strike sealed the fate of the match and truly outclassed GBSS Agro Technical.
