LAHORE: The Punjab government has given approval to the Higher Education Department (HED) to establish an associate degree college in Sabzazar.

The approval for establishing the new college was given under the District Development Plan of Lahore. The residents of the area would get a higher education facility at their doorstep after establishment of the college.

Meanwhile, as the fourth wave of the Covid-19 is on the rise and steps are being taken to stop the spread of the virus, there is a possibility of the cancellation of ninth and eleventh classes’ examinations. The students could be promoted to next classes; however, the decision would be taken in the next meeting of the National Command Operation Centre (NCOC).

The intermediate part-II examination under BISE Lahore will conclude on July 27 (today) while the ninth class examination was also scheduled to start on July 27.
