SUKKUR: Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Sardar Ali Gohar Khan Mahar on Saturday chaired a meeting of the anti-PPP alliance at his residence, Gohar Palace, in Khanpur Mahar town of Gokti district.

The meeting was attended by Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, MNA Ghous Bux Khan Mahar, MPA Moazzam Abbasi, Sheharyar Khan Mahar, Maulana Ishaq Leghari, Ali Nawaz Mahar aka Raja Khan, Sardar Maqsood Ahmed Khan Khushik and several other prominent figures of the district.

Later, Sardar Ali Gohar Mahar told the media that the meeting decided to form a non-party alliance against PPP in the LG elections.
