LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has included two more members in the First Board of the Central Punjab Cricket Association (CPCA) after passing of almost 141 days of its formation notified on March 4, 2021 for a period of one year.

The two members are Usman Ali and Mian Javed. While Usman is little known across the cricket fraternity, Mian Javed is running Punjab Club in Lahore. He also has political affiliation with the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and has held the portfolio of Insaf Sports wing of Punjab.

Interestingly, no meeting of the First Board of any of the six associations could be held in 141 days. The second meeting of PCB chairman Ehsan Mani with the chairmen of six associations’ First Board is scheduled for July 27.
