SUKKUR: Three people were killed and one was injured while 12 goats also died when a speeding mini truck loaded with sacrificial animals overturned on the National Highway near Daharki late on Sunday night.

The truck was going to Hafizabad, Punjab, from Talhar town in Badin district when it met the accident, causing instant death of Umair Ali, Mazhar Ali and Shoakat Ali and serious injuries to another man.

Area people who rushed to help the victims told media persons that the injured was first taken to Ghotki Civil Hospital but there was no medical staff to provide him help. He was then rushed to Rahimyar Khan for treatment, they said.
