Sindh has reported 1,420 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising the provincial tally to 351,006.
Moreover, the daily situation report issued by the Chief Minister's Office confirmed the deaths of 26 more persons due to the virus. The death toll now stands at 5,647.
The report added that 16,528 samples were tested for the virus in the last 24 hours, returning a positivity rate of 8.6 per cent.
The last time Sindh had reported more daily cases was on May 23, when 1,529 infections were logged.
