KARACHI: The president of the North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry (NKATI), Faisal Moiz Khan, has called upon Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to take notice of severe water crisis in North Karachi and issue directives to the water board for supplying water as per the need of industries to ensure smooth production activities.

In a statement, he said tanker mafia has plenty of water while in contrast water is not available from water board lines.

“Production activities are stalled due to non-availability of water to factories thus causing delay in timely delivery of foreign orders,” he said. He claimed that the MD Water Board was contacted to discuss the matter, but he did not give any positive response.
