LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan on Monday reached superannuation after serving the judiciary for over eleven years.

He was elevated to the LHC on Feb 19, 2010.

A full court reference was held in honour of the outgoing chief justice.

All the judges working at the principal seat of Lahore, advocate general of Punjab, federal and provincial law officers attended the reference.

Later, at a send off ceremony, Chief Justice-designate Muhammad Ameer Bhatti presented a flower bouquet to Justice Khan.

Justice Bhatti would take oath as chief justice on Tuesday (today) at a ceremony to be held in the Governor House.
