Pakistan has reported 1,400 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, up from 1,277 a day earlier and marking three straight days of more than 1,000 new infections.
The country's caseload has increased to 961,085 while the coronavirus positivity rate stands at 2.9 per cent.
Over the last 24 hours, 34 more people succumbed to the virus, taking the death toll to 22,379.
The countrywide breakdown of cases is as follows:

- Sindh: 881
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 127
- Balochistan: 53
- Islamabad: 66
- Gilgit Baltistan: 92
