MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly will meet on Tuesday for presentation and subsequent approval of the territory’s budget for the next fiscal year and revised budget of the current fiscal year in a single day.

The budget will be presented by finance minister Dr Najeeb Naqi Khan.

According to official sources, the house will suspend its rules to pave the way for debate as well as voting on cut motions on the development and non-development budget of fiscal years 2020-21 and 2021-22 in the same session in order to enable the lawmakers return to their respective constituencies to carry on their election campaign.
