TAXILA: Two people died and one was injured in three different incidents on Saturday.

In the first incident, a 22-year-old woman identified as Aliya Zaffar was found dead at her in-laws house in village Doula. Her uncle Mohammad Iqbal has alleged that Zaffar’s in-laws were involved in her “unnatural” death. The body was shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital Jand for autopsy and a detailed report will be released by Punjab Forensic Science Agency, Lahore.

In the second incident, a 55-year-old man died after being hit by a passenger train near village Jaffar in the jurisdictions of Fatehjang Police station. Sources in police said that the man identified as Mohammad Nawaz was crossing a railway line when he was hit by Multan-bound Mehar Express coming from Rawalpindi.

Moreover, a man was shot and injured during a house robbery in the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar Police station. Imran Shahid reported to police that he along with other family members was present at his house when four masked persons equipped with different weapons entered into his house after scaling the wall.
