At least 15 personnel of the Sindh Police have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the last four days, taking the total number of cases to 6,516, according to a police statement issued on Thursday.

The Sindh Police spokesperson said that as many as 26 officers had lost their lives to the virus, while 32 cops were currently under treatment.

He informed that 6,458 police officers had recovered from Covid-19 so far.

The spokesperson added that the officers who had contracted the virus and were undergoing treatment were being properly cared for and steps were being taken on a daily basis for their recovery.
