Mudassar puts MHCC in last eight

KARACHI, Oct 25: Mudassar Abbas produced a splendid all-round show to help Muhammad Hussain CC (MHCC) qualify for the quarterfinals of the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan cricket tournament at the AKG Ground on Tuesday.

Mudassar slammed an enterprising unbeaten 56 off just 39 deliveries, spiced with five fours and a six, while Abdul Qadir contributed 24 not out.

Mudassar, who also had one catch and a stumping, was named Man-of-the-Match.

Earlier batting first, M. Tex XI mustered 137 for six in 20 overs thanks to a breezy knock of 58 off 47 balls with five boundaries and a six by Hameed Baloch.
