PESHAWAR: The Gajju Khan Medical College Swabi on Friday launched its first student magazine with the title of ‘Mahabanr’.

Maj-Gen retired Dr Salahudin Qasim, the chairman of the Board of Governors of Medical Teaching Institution, Gajju Khan Medical College, was the chief guest at the launch ceremony, according to a statement issued here.

Prof S Abrar Lakhkar Khan, chairman of the literary society, encouraged the students to continue such efforts in future.

Naseer Ahmed of MBBS final year, who is the literary secretary and editor-in-chief of the magazine, talked about the whole journey and

offered his gratitude to the editorial board, chairman and college administration for their cooperation.

Prof Shamsur Rehman, dean of the MTI GKMC, was also present on the occasion, the statement said.
