KARACHI, Oct 25: Police arrested a suspected robber and seized two motorcycles and a pistol from him on late Tuesday night. Police said the two armed men riding on KDD-7891 intercepted Mohammad Faisal near the Standard School in Block ‘T’, North Nazimabad. They took away his motorbike (SKG-6532) at gunpoint. Faisal told a police patrol about the incident, who chased the suspects. A shootout ensued, resulting in the arrest of a suspect, identified as Ahmadullah, and seizure of a pistol from him.

His accomplice escaped, leaving the motorcycle behind. Police took both motorbikes into custody. The suspect received a gunshot to them abdomen. He was admitted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.—Staff Reporter
