The federal government will set up large vaccination centres and constitute mobile teams in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir to speed up the Covid-19 immunisation campaign, said federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar.

In a tweet, the minister said the decision was taken in today's meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre. "It is necessary to speed up vaccinations in AJK due to the [upcoming] election and [the arrival of] tourist season in GB," Umar said.
