Separately, six persons, including three women, were injured in two road accidents in different parts of the city on Saturday.

The police said a Lahore-bound passenger bus hit a rickshaw near Jhari Kas on GT Road, injuring two women and three men. The injured were taken to the trauma centre, wherefrom three of them were referred to Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad, in critical condition. The injured were identified as Chan Bibi, Nazma Bibi, Taj Mohammad, Mazhar and Mohammad Nazir.

In the second accident, a car skidded off the Haripur bypass road and fell into a ditch after colliding with a van near Malikyar village. The car driver identified as Adeel Zafar of Rawalpindi was injured. The rescue workers shifted the injured to the trauma centre.
