Bilal pulverises Quetta bowlers

KARACHI, Oct 23: Bilal Marwat stroked a brilliant 176 to put Abbottabad in driving seat of their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League match against Quetta at the Bugti Stadium on Sunday.

Bilal, who was 72 overnight, struck 23 fours and four sixes as the visiting team added a remarkable 170 runs to their overnight tally of 297 for six. The right-hander dominated a seventh-wicket partnership of 152 with skipper Sajid Shah (32).

Quetta, in reply, lost four key wickets in scoring 166 runs. Leg-spinner Dilawar Khan captured all the wickets to fall for 71 runs in 14 overs.
