Pindi rout Karachi Urban

RAWALPINDI, Oct 23: Rawalpindi finished off Karachi Urban inside two days inflicting a 10-run defeat on the visitors in their Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League game at the KRL Stadium on Sunday.

After resuming at the overnight 137-6, Rawalpindi took an 88-run first innings lead totalling 228.

Spearheaded by Najaf Shah’s fine bowling the home side dismissed their opponents for a paltry 107 in the second innings.

Najaf struck after tea to claim 4-39 while Sohail Tanvir and Rizwan Akbar who shared six wickets did the rest.
