TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 23: District Nazim Chaudhry Abdul Sattar has announced donation of his one-year salary to the President’s Relief Fund.
Talking to the press here on Saturday, Mr Sattar said he had also urged all union council nazims and their naibs to take an active part in collection of relief goods.
BSC CLASSES: Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi has approved introduction of BSc classes in government girls colleges of Kamalia and Pirmahal.
This was said here on Saturday by MNA Riaz Fatyana.
He said the chief minister had also ordered commencement of MA/MSc classes in different subjects, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, political science and business administration in Government Prem Sati College, Kamalia.
CRUSHED TO DEATH: Two men were run over and killed by a speeding bus on Toba-Faisalabad Road.
Dilber of Chak 93-JB and Yasir of Chak 280-JB were standing at the bus stop of Chak 281-JB when a speeding bus ran over them, killing them on the spot.
