RAWALPINDI: A man was shot dead allegedly by his younger brother over a domestic issue in Gulzar-i-Quaid while a pedestrian was injured during a brawl between two groups in the Airport Housing Society on Thursday.

Police said the first incident happened in Gulzar-i-Quaid where Naqash Ahmed, 24, was gunned down allegedly by his younger brother over domestic issues.

Initial police investigation suggested that the elder one had been a drug addict for a long time. Due to his addiction the family had been facing unrest in the house.

On Thursday, both brothers had a quarrel during which the elder brother was murdered. The suspect was later overpowered and handed over to the police.

On the other hand a pedestrian identified as Mohammad Iqbal, 65, was injured while two groups were quarrelling in the Airport Housing Society.
