A number of businesses have been sealed in Karachi for violating coronavirus SOPs and more than 25 people fined for not wearing masks, according to South Deputy Commissioner Irshad Ali Sodhar's office.

Three medical stories were sealed and 15 people fined a total of Rs10,000 for not wearing masks in the Garden area, while a bakery was sealed and another 13 people fined for violating the mask-wearing rule in Lyari.

Meanwhile, two restaurants in Saddar and a gaming zone in DHA were sealed for violating the SOPs.
