Wheat crop set on fire

BAJAUR: Unknown miscreants set on fire wheat crop of a local farmer in Yousafabad area of Khar tehsil on Monday night.

Talking to reporters, affected grower Imran Yousaf said the harvested wheat crop was still lying in the fields when it was burnt.

He said he did not know as to who could be involved in the criminal act.

The farmer said almost all the crop had turned into ashes when the Rescue 1122 personnel reached the spot.
