Malaysia has reported a record 6,075 coronavirus cases in a single day, with authorities warning of a “dire” situation as hospitals rapidly fill up in the worst-hit areas.
Today's number of cases beat the previous record of 5,728 set on January 30, according to AFP.
A further 46 deaths were recorded, the health ministry said, the second-highest on record after 47 on Tuesday.
