KARACHI, Oct 22: Another five patients evacuated from the quake-hit areas were brought to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) on Saturday.

According to JPMC Deputy Director Dr Seemin Jamali the number of quake victims brought to the JPMC for treatment since Oct 10 reached 32.

Mohammad Bashir, 30, from Batagram, with fractured rib, Zarmina, 55, with fracture femur from Balakot, Safina, 30, with shoulder joint injury, from Balakot, were admitted to the hospital on Saturday.

The incoming patients included two siblings- Nimra, 10, and Waqas, 12- were also shifted from Balakot to the JPMC. Nimra, with fractured femur, while Waqas, with head injury were recovered from the quake affected area.

She mentioned that two patients Kulsoom Akhtar, 15, from Bagh, Azad Kashmir, and Gulnar, 20, from Muzaffarabd were discharged after treatment for minor injuries on late Friday night.
