HYDERABAD: Gunmen looted Rs4.3 million from a real estate dealer in the area of Pinyari police station in the early hours of Wednesday.

Three armed bandits intercepted dealer Farrukh Jamil in Paretabad area within the limits of Pinyari police station and snatched the money.

The looted money included prize bonds worth Rs15,000, according to the complainant.

He said the bandits snatched his bag of money which also had his two mobile phones.

Pinyari police station SHO Abdul Karim Abbasi, according to the complainant, disbelieved his statement.

Hyderabad SSP Abdul Salam told Dawn that the report was being verified as the victim was a broker. He said a case would be lodged after verification of his statement.
