DADU: Two brothers drowned in Jamrao Canal in the Panj Dari Mori locality of Tando Allahyar on Monday.
Residents of the locality said that Krishan Lal and Jauhar Lal had stopped at the spot to quench thirst but Jauhar Lal slipped into the water. Krishan Lal jumped into the canal to save him but both were swept away.
They said some local divers went after the drowning men but they could only fish out their bodies.
