TAXILA: Three people were killed and one was injured in separate incidents in Attock on Sunday.

Police said masked men hiding in the bushes gunned down Malang Khan near his house in in the precincts of Hazro police.

In the second incident, a train ran over a man near Burhan in the limits of Hassanabdal police.

Police said Wali Khan was crossing the railway line on a motorcycle when a passenger train hit him. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.

Separately, a man was axed to death in village Gandakass in the limits of Bassal police.

Sajid Mehmood was attacked by his rivals over a land dispute. He was taken to Rawalpindi in critical condition where he died. Moreover, Nawaz Shah was injured when a speeding van rammed into his motorcycle near Masoom Shah tomb in Fatehjangn.

Meanwhile, a woman allegedly chopped off her husband’s sexual organ in Dhoke Jatla in the limits of Wah police on Sunday.

Mohammed Naqqash has been admitted to a hospital near Taxila.

The 29-year-old man had contracted marriage some years ago but relations between the couple remained strained. He was planning to contract a second marriage after Eidul Fitr.

While Naqqash was asleep, his wife slashed his vital organ with a sharp object.

Police have registered a case and started an investigation.
