LAKKI MARWAT: An armed clash between rival groups claimed lives of three persons and caused injuries to two others in Sookari Zabita Khan area of Bannu district on Friday.

According to reports reaching here from the area, the armed clash panicked the local residents forcing them to stay indoors. The deceased included Sadullah and his son, Iqtedar, from one side, and Nasir Khan from the other.

The reports said two people, including Farifullah and his brother, Asadullah sustained wounds in the clash.

The deceased and the injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital.
