QUETTA: Three people were shot dead in two incidents in Kech and Panjgur districts on Monday.

Police said unidentified men riding a motorcycle opened fire on a car in the Chiltan bypass area of Panjgur town. Two men travelling in the car received multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.

The bodies were shifted to the district hospital for autopsy. They were handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities.

The deceased were identified as Khan Jan and Ali.

Khan Jan was kidnapped in 2017 and he was released last year. Khan Jan was an elder brother of Balochi language poet Fazal Sher.

Earlier on Sunday night, a man was shot dead in the Buleda area of Kech district.

He was identified as Mohammad Ismail.

Levies officials said the body was taken to a nearby hospital before being handed over to his relatives.
