LARKANA: A man allegedly shot dead his two sisters in Pir Usman Shah village within the limits of Akil police station late on Thursday night and escaped.

Residents of the neighbourhood alerted the police, who collected the bodies and transported them to the Chandka Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

According to the police, Irfan Jatoi allegedly shot dead his two unmarried sisters, Maqsooda, 25, and Raheela, 23, in the early hours of Friday and fled the house.

Akil police registered the case vide FIR No. 16/2021 against Irfan Jatoi on the complaint of his mother, Zohra Khatoon Jatoi, and started an investigation. The suspect could not be arrested till late in the evening.
