Arms, explosives seized in Bajaur

BAJAUR: The security forces foiled a sabotage bid by recovering arms and explosives during a raid at a hideout in a border locality of Mamond tehsil of the Bajaur tribal district.

Official sources said on Sunday the recovery was made in Ghakahi area. They added that the seizure included rocket launchers, rocket shells, IEDs and hand grenades.

The sources claimed that the terrorists were planning to carry out sabotage activities during Ramazan and Eidul Fitr days.

The sources said the security forces had also foiled a sabotage bid by recovering arms during the current month.
