Three booked for abducting woman in Okara

OKARA: The Gogera police registered a case against a man and his two sons for kidnapping a married woman and taking away cash and valuables from her house at village Jithiana.

According to the first information report (FIR) registered by one Shahadat, his village man Choghatta along with sons Ashraf and Arshad had a dinner in his house. Everybody ate sweets and had drinks brought by the guests. After sometime, the complainant’s whole family fell unconscious.

When Shahadat regained conscious, he found that his wife, Rani Bibi, was missing along with Rs400,000 and gold ornaments worth Rs200,000.

The Gogera police registered a case against the suspects. In another case, a man registered a case against his three relatives for abducting his daughter two months after the incident.

According to the FIR, in February 2021, the complainant’s relatives from Sheikhupura district, including Rehana Bibi and her sons Sulaman and Imran Masih, reached Chak 10/4-L and asked about his daughter Mehwish who was at her uncle’ house.

Rehana went to the house of the girl’s uncle and got Mehwish out on some pretext. Later, Rehana and hers sons bundled Mehwish into a van at gunpoint and escaped.

The Cantt police registered a case.
