LAKKI MARWAT: Police destroyed caves in the mountainous Surband locality during an operation on Thursday.

The caves were being used by miscreants and anti-social elements as safe havens.

An official said that a large contingent of police assisted by commandos of Elite Force and Quick Response Force was sent to the remote rural area to destroy the hideouts and ensure arrest of wanted men.

He said that the cops destroyed the caves and arrested several suspects, including a proclaimed offender, during the operation.

He said that the arrested PO was identified as Gul Janan, a resident of Land Ahmadkhel village.
