CHAGAI: A kidnapped boy was recovered on Wednesday after personnel of police and Levies Force launched a joint operation soon after reports of the incident in Nushki district reached them.

The Nushki Police Station House Officer, Sadiq Mengal, told Dawn on Wednesday that Zahid, 12, was kidnapped in front of his house in Qazi Abad area.

“We chased the kidnappers soon after receiving the information about the incident and recovered Zahid and arrested kidnappers in Gauko area when they were on the way to their destination,” Mr Mengal said.

He further said that a pistol, some mobile phones and a vehicle was also recovered from the possession of the kidnappers.
