GUJRAT: The Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) has dismissed assistant director of land record Irum Shehzadi from service for corrupt practices.

A spokesman for the PLRA told Dawn that Ms Shehzadi who had been posted at Arzai Record Centre of Model Town, Lahore, was found guilty of charges in an inquiry under Peeda as she carried out transactions of property of a housing society in violation of caution/restriction imposed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Four more inquiries into her working are ongoing.
