REGARDLESS of how the Senate elections went and equally regardless of how the elections for the Senate chairman will go, the lot of the common man has remained pretty much unchanged and will likely remain unchanged.

Contrary to the high expectations, even the basic commodities have now become unaffordable luxuries for the lower middle class in the face of mighty inflation, lack of job opportunities, recession, retrenchments and pay-cuts. The most unfortunate part is that there is little to no hope of any immediate relief.
