GWADAR: The Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Balochistan (South), Maj Gen Ayman Bilal Safdar visited the University of Turbat.

Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat Prof Dr Abdul Razzaq Sabir and his staff welcomed the IGFC.

Besides conducting a meeting with the vice chancellor, Maj Gen Safdar had interactive sessions with faculty members and students in the video conference room and multipurpose hall.

Speaking on the occasion, Maj Gen Safdar highlighted the role of teachers and students in the nation building. He said that universities could play an effective role in development and prosperity of the nation. He asked students to pay full attention to acquiring education as they were the future of the nation.

He appreciated efforts of the vice chancellor and the teaching staff for the achievements accomplished by the Turbat University over last eight years.

He also responded to questions asked by the faculty members and students on various issues during interactive sessions. The vice chancellor thanked the IGFC for his visit to the varsity and taking keen interest in the development of the Turbat University.

Brigadier Abdullah Saeed, University Registrar Ghulam Farooq, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof Dr Abdul Saboor, Dean of Faculty of Legal Education Prof Dr Gull Hasan, Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering Dr Naeemullah, Controller of Examinations Tanvir Ahmed, Director of Finance Shabek Syed, Director of the university’s Gwadar Campus Ijaz Ahmed, Deputy Registrar Ganguzar Baloch, chairpersons of different departments, faculty members and students attended the interactive sessions and the conference.
