RAWALPINDI: A woman gave birth to a baby boy in an ambulance on way to hospital in Kotli Sattian on Friday.

Rescue services said they received an emergency call and sent an ambulance along with a staff to the village. As the woman, Iqra Perveen, 28, was being taken hospital, she delivered the baby in the ambulance.

“The parents of the newborn thanked the ambulance crew for helping in the delivery of the baby,” they added.

Meanwhile, a motorcyclist sustained injuries to his hands after being hit by a stray kite string on Misrial Road on Friday.

Mohammad Nadeem, 39, was on way home when the incident occurred. He was provdied first aid by emergency services.
