KARACHI: The academic activities of the new semester in the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast) will start from March 15, says a statement.

This was decided at the 30th meeting of the Fuuast Academic Council, held under the chairmanship of acting Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Dr Rubina Mushtaq.

The meeting discussed the teaching and other matters of the university.

It was decided that the teaching activities of the new semester will start from March 15.

Online teaching facility will be extended in Karachi and Islamabad campuses. Teaching will be held six days a week in Karachi campus out of which only students will be allowed to come to the university for research and lab for two days as per the schedule.

Relevant university officials attended the meeting.
