Girl assaulted

TOBA TEK SINGH: A man allegedly raped a visually-challenged girl on Monday at Kamalia.

In Chak 738-GB, the 17-year-old girl was a guest at a farmer’s house where the suspect, who is stated to be a neighbour, forcibly took her to his home and raped her.

The police are raiding to arrest the suspect.

BODY: The body of a man was found trapped in the Moongi Canal on Gojra-Samundri Road on Monday.

The Gojra Saddar police said they made announcement through village mosques but so far the body had not been identified.
