Two killed in exchange of fire

LARKANA, Oct 12: Two persons were killed and three were injured in the Phull village on the outskirts of Larkana on Wednesday when two groups of people exchanged fire following a petty dispute.

Zahid Hussain Phull was killed and a stray bullet hit a passer-by, six-year-old Ehsan Ali Sheikh, who also died on the spot.

The injured – Sikandar Ali Phull, Shahid Hussain Phull and Majid Ali Phull were immediately shifted to the Chandka Medical College Hospital.

According to doctors Sikandar Phull was in precarious condition.

Heavy contingent of police was posted as tension gripped the entire village when the relatives of Zahid Hussain resisted police from taking possession of the deceased and fired on them.

In another incident some unidentified armed-men gunned down Dhani Bakhsh Khokhar, a driver in Larkana Highways department, near the CMCH on Wednesday and escaped.
