THE government employees are generally known for corruption, incompetence and inefficiency. As if this was not enough, it is unfortunate that they also resorted to hooliganism recently in Islamabad, demanding substantial increments.
The government should have agreed to their demands only against an undertaking in writing from each individual that they will strictly respect office timings, work honestly and diligently, and will not resort to corruption in any form.
Failure to respect any condition should result in forthwith cancellation of the increment retrospectively.
