LAHORE: The Cabinet Committee on Law and Order has directed the law enforcement agencies and respective districts’ administration, where the Sikh pilgrims are to visit, should ensure the security of the pilgrims and their holy places in all respects.

The cabinet committee also said that coronavirus SOPs should also be ensured at Sikh gatherings and PSL-6 cricket matches. In view of Corona SOPs, 20 percent of the spectators in PSL-6 be allowed to watch the match in the stadium.

The meeting was chaired by law minister Basharat Raja at civil secretariat on Wednesday.

Divisional commissioners, RPOs and district officers gave a briefing through video link.
