PESHAWAR: Islamia College Peshawar defeated Sarhad University, Peshawar, by four goals to one in the final match of All Pakistan Inter-University Football Championship here on Thursday.

Islamia College Peshawar (ICP) scored four goals against the Sarhad University’s one.

ICP student Mr Hasnain was declared as man of the match for his best performance in the final.

On this occasion, Sarhad University vice-chancellor Prof Dr Saleemur Rehman said that he had also been a student of the Islamia College Peshawar which had produced many famous players in various games. He said that the Thursday’s victory was nothing new for the ICP.

Senior Alumni Association member engineer Aurangzeb Khalil, director sports Ali Hoti, ICP public relations officer Omar Ali, coach Aslam Khan, Firdous Khan, Nawaz Khan and Sarhad University Sports in-charge Khurshid Khan were also present on this occasion.
