RAWALPINDI: A three-month-old baby girl died due to suffocation as a result of gas leak in her house on Thursday.
Her parents have been struggling for their lives in the emergency ward of District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
According to police and rescue services, the incident happened in a house in Morgah wherein Mohammad Imran, 30, Sana Imran, 29, were found unconscious. Their daughter Khadeeja was pronounced dead by rescuers.
Police said the room where the family was sleeping was filled with gas when its door was forced open.
