LARKANA: The Sindh High Court chief justice on Friday took notice of the drowning of a two-year-old girl, Madiha Ganicho, in an open manhole in Cattle Colony locality of this city a day earlier, and asked the Larkana deputy commissioner and municipal commissioner to appear in court on Monday (Jan 18). Both officials have been asked to personally appear in court along with the reports regarding allocation of budget and its utilisation during the last year.

The court registrar has also written a letter to the Larkana district and sessions judge asking him for a report regarding the drowning incident.
