KARAK: Former representatives of local government and elders of Guddikhel union council here have demanded restoration of power supply to the area and said the people were ready to pay their monthly bills regularly.

Speaking at a meeting here on Thursday, former village council nazim of Guddikhel, Ali Nawab, Shaheenullah, Aslam Khan and others complained that power supply to the area through the express feeder had been disconnected for over a year on the pretext of nonpayment of power bills by the area residents and the entire union council had been deprived of electricity.

They claimed that they had made repeated agreements with the Pesco, Karak, about regular payment of the bills, but the matter could not be resolved.
