THATTA: A speeding land cruiser hit two motorcycles near Thatta Sugar Mills killing their two riders and critically injuring two pillion riders on Friday.

Onlookers said that the four wheeler went out of its driver’s control while negotiating a blind turning in front of the mills along Thatta-Badin road. It hit the two motorcycles coming from the opposite side and plunged into a roadside ditch. The deceased were identified as Farhan Memon, a resident of Mirpur Bathoro, and Hassamuddin, a resident of Sujawal town. The injured, Dost Ali and Aijaz Bagal, were rushed to the Makli Civil Hospital for treatment.
