KARACHI: A judicial magistrate (East) on Wednesday remanded in police custody a suspect detained for allegedly robbing citizens in the guise of a local food chain’s delivery man.

Police claimed to have arrested Abdul Rauf for allegedly robbing citizens in the guise of a delivery man in Ferozeabad area.

The investigating officer produced the suspect to seek his physical remand in police custody stating that he was allegedly involved in committing house robberies in the guise of a food chain’s delivery man.

He further informed that the suspect had allegedly disclosed his involvement in committing 21 such robberies, adding that efforts were under way to arrest his accomplices.
